Our roots

Classroom Storage Units was established in 1984 after a teacher attending a "Math Their Way" training course asked if her husband could craft a small storage box to contain her supplies. The original "Junk Box" was produced and several other colleagues liked what the saw and asked for one of their own.

Over time, teacher requests began to multiply as a variety of different functional and creative products were devised and crafted out of a small 480 sq. ft. home workshop.

Now, 20 years later, Classroom Storage Units continues our proud heritage of listening to teacher's needs by providing products that are valued and enjoyed in classrooms throughout the United States. Our best marketing has been satisfied customers continually recommending our products to their colleagues. Our success has come by providing teachers with affordable, durable, and functional classroom furnishings.
